Pointsbreak is one of the leading promotion out there by a luxury industry. However, IHG dilutes the promotion time to time by only including Holiday inn express which is a low-cost version of the hotel and you don’t get any upgrades there or decent food.

You can book a participating hotel only once during the promotion. Last quarter promotion was underwhelming. There were zero hotels in India that were participating in the challenge. However, this quarter promotion is far superior to last two. Of course, IHG keeps changing list all the time. So, if a list is published now, you might find few hotels omitted. Rarely, ever, we see them adding hotels to the list.

When IHG is offering hotel at 5000 points = Rs 2250 (approx).

There can be some great deals around here, given you can land a 30,000 points redemption hotel for just 5,000 points sometimes. The full list of hotels for the third PointsBreaks promotion this year has now been released.

There are just over a hundred hotels participating in this round of PointBreaks with 3 hotels in India.

After a long time, they have included a top-end Intercontinental hotel in the list.the InterContinental Bandung Sago Pakar in Indonesia.  The hotel is close to Jakarta.

Do remember that each member may only book two PointBreaks Reward Nights reservations per hotel, though there is no limit to the number of times you can book via the PointBreaks offer. Also, bookings for the coming period will open on July 31, 2017 for stays through October 2017.
