Earlier, When I wanted to capitalize on any offer in a massive way – I would use something called Mattress Run. I would check into multiple hotels and get credit score for all of them.

My runs would be based on the fact that I might be getting more value from the run than I am spending on the hotels. Like current offer with SPG Explore More combined with Member’s Exclusive and Emirates World Rewards offer would give me a territorial level of points.

Hence, I did what I have been doing for a while. Checked into multiple hotel rooms in the same city. However, this time Marriott caught me having multiple bookings at multiple hotels in the same city and decided to award me stay for only one hotel. Such a waste of money.

I am writing this post to alert other runners, please book only 1 hotel from the chain now.
