The airline is introducing lot of weekend-only flights from their metro cities. To make space for these flights on their calendar, they are reducing flights on routes such as Mumbai-Delhi & Mumbai-Bangalore on the weekend and using these slots to operate flights to locations such as Amritsar & Patna.
Jet Airways adding lot of flights to compete with Air Asia and Indigo on multiple sectors too. Jet Airways never realized Indore – Bangalore sector before Air Asia launched into that sector. There will be weekend-only flights on 22 routes from Mumbai, Delhi, and other cities.
Jet Airways went big on North East such as Aizawl, Imphal, and Jorhat. For instance, there will be thrice a week flights to Aizawl & Jorhat, and four times a week flights to Silchar & Imphal from Delhi.
Here is the entire schedule of new flights. Remember, if you book before March 31, 2018.

It is interesting that Jet is opening up Guwahati airport as a base and sending so many flights via Guwahati. How does it work out practically is yet to be seen. I believe it would look similar to Mumbai when they moved from T1 to T2. Initially, the air traffic control was so underserved and didn’t expect such a massive intake. Even till date, Jet Airways is usually delayed because of air traffic and there is no respite coming any time soon. However, I am proud that Jet Airways is actually thinking differently for once.
