All the airlines are charging way over that amount to cancel the tickets. This deal makes loyalist like me change all local bookings to OTA instead of using the main site. 

Today, only for Jet Airways you lose 250 JPMiles which is very passable as you are saving way more money on OTA nowadays.  You still get all the facilities of your tier on bookings via OTA.  Which is a complete turnaround from my earlier stance of booking on airline’s website? 

There are so many Credit cards that have sprung up that offer great offers and more points than airline own co-partner cards. Example, Benefits of Citi Prestige on Makemytrip and Yatra provide you more rewards than Axis Bank on Vistara airline booking.

Makemytrip Double Black

Makemytrip has launched Double Black service for Rs 1499 where you can cancel any 3 domestic flights and hotels scot-free. I find that highly probable that I would require using the feature when it comes to my hotel booking. I have definitely canceled more hotels than that this year.
