Marriott Rewards & SPG MegaBonus In More Places

Members were eligible to earn 2,000 bonus points for each stay of two nights or longer starting from the second stay + 1,000 bonus points for each brand starting from the second.

Day before yesterday or yesterday, most of the users received their bonuses. However, I have been hearing lot of complaints about incorrect posting.

Here’s what Marriott wrote on their web page at the time:

With MegaBonus® in More Places, you’ll earn:

  • 2,000 bonus points on all stays** of two or more nights
  • 1,000 bonus points per brand, starting with your second brand

NEW! Now get even more. Earn:

  • 10,000 bonus points when you stay at 10 brands.
  • 29,000 bonus points when you stay at 29 brands.

It basically means that you should be getting 1000 points per brand you tried from the second stay. If that isn’t the case, you should get in touch with customer service either via phone or social media and get your points updated.
